Nalbandian kicks Linesman and gets disqualified from Queens 2012 Final
In quite unprecedented circumstances, David Nalbandian angrily kicked the linesman and was disqualified from the Queens 2012 Final.
The Argentine was leading by a set but reacted angrily when he dropped his serve in the second set, kicking the wood frame with Nike advertising on it, where the linesman was sat, and appearing to inflict injury in the process.
As a result Nalbandian was disqualified and Marin Cilic lifted the trophy on Centre Court to an outpouring of boos. Let's hope we don't see the same at Wimbledon. We're sure John McEnroe would not have agreed with the officials.
