Following his two goals against Newcastle, Yaya Toure has edged Manchester City ever closer to their first ever Premier League title, which will undoubtedly send the blue side of Manchester into party mode.

Not for Yaya however, as upon receiving his Man of the Match award of a bottle of champagne, the Ivory Coast midfielder gave it away to defender Joleon Lescott.

As seen in the video above, Toure says “I don’t drink because I am a muslim, you take the champagne,” as the religion stipulates no drinking of alcohol.

Toure will no doubt be thrilled about his contribution to Man City’s fantastic campaign thus far.

City host relegation fighting Queen’s Park Rangers next week knowing a win will almost guarantee the Premier League title heading to the Etihad Stadium this season.
