Kshema Sangakkara, father of Kumar Sangakkara who yesterday became only the 10th batsman to score 10,000 runs in ODI cricket, has played a pivotal role in the success of his son. It is a role that continues today as Kshema still assiduously analyses his son’s game and offers advice. In the little time available between returning from South Africa and heading on to Australia, Kumar is seen here receiving advice from his father at his (Kumar's) home in Colombo.
