Kobe Bryant dominates charity game in China
Just days after winning Olympic gold, LA Lakers shooting guard Kobe Bryant wowed crowds in China with a stirring 15-minute display of his talents albeit against somewhat less experienced opposition. Bryant, 33 and one of basketball's greatest players, was turning out for the second annual Sprite China Charity Basketball game against and alongside actors and singers that are massive in the country.
This video, as explained by Bryant himself on his Facebook page, shows the great man, "scoring 68 in the 2nd and we won. Like I said, they are not basketball players by any stretch of the imagination. I was just having fun with all of them and loved hearing the crowd enjoy the show we put on".
Explaining the reasoning behind the game and how successful the night was, Bryant wrote, "I believe we raised 2.6MM RMB for underprivileged youth here in China! That is the MOST important number of the night."
