Inter Milan Seemingly Usher Julio Cesar towards the Door
Brazil goalkeeper Julio Cesar told the press today that he has no plans to leave Inter Milan this summer despite being linked with a move to arch rivals AC Milan. Slovenian goalkeeper Samir Handanovic has seemingly being signed from Udinese as his replacement.
The Brazilian commented to reporters about the rumoured interest from AC Milan : "There is nothing there. "Many people are asking me about this, but there is nothing official."
Football fan Olly Dawes (@OllyDawes) comments on Cesar's next possible destination: 'If I was to have a random guess about where Julio Cesar ends up, it'd be Malaga.'
AC Milan blogger Meytar Zeevi (@Rossoneriblog) suggests that the speculation might be just that: 'Carlo Laudisa says that at the moment, Milan have no intentions of getting Julio Cesar. And Cesar is not quite interested either.'
Forza Italian Football editor Sam Lewis (@SamCalcio) tweets: 'So Julio Cesar to Milan is really likely? Wow.'
Hashim (@hashim0307) from the Juventus Norwegian supporters club comments: 'Inter are treating Julio Cesar like trash. Not cool, he deserves better.'
Italian football fan Francesco (@francescalcio) thinks the wirting is already on the wall for Cesar: 'Julio Cesar has not been called up to Inter's preseason training camp. Arrivederci.'
Cesar started his professional career in Brazil with Flamengo before signing for Cheivo in 2005. Though he didn't manage a single appearance for the Verona club he signed for Inter Milan in 2006 and immediately established himself as first choice between the sticks.
Where do you think Julio Cesar will be going or do you think he'll stay at the San Siro in one way or another?
