After two prolific seasons with Bilbao in La Liga combined with the poor form of Fernando Torres and the injury to David Villa, Llorente is likely to spearhead the Spanish defence of the European Championships this summer and a fine tournament could well determine the striker's future and fee. Llorente has earned many plaudits for his style of play and form over the course of the last two seasons with Harry Redknapp a known admirer of the forward. If Redknapp fails in a bid to retain Adebayor then Llorente will be seen as an ideal fit at White Hart Lane but, with fine performances in the Europa League this season particularly against Manchester United, Llorente is fancied by many of European football's elite clubs. Barcelona look to be in the market for another striker to relieve some of the pressure on Lionel Messi while Man City have also been rumoured to be interested in replacing Edin Dzeko with someone of Llorente's calibre. Liverpool and Real Madrid will also be keeping tabs on the 27 year-old.
