90 year-old pole-vaulting world record holder
Pole-vaulting is an impressive sport which requires speed, bravery and agility as minimum requirements to success. That being said, two of those attributes are not necessarily akin with old age so you are excused from thinking that there are not a great deal of exceptional pole-vaulting pensioners in the world.
That was, however, until Dr William Bell was filmed at his son's training camp in northern Arkansas breaking his own world-record for his age group at 7ft 2". The doctor's son is no other than former pole-vault world record holder and gold medallist Earl Bell but the achievements of William are rather incredible and even more special given his desire to train three times a week at the camp.
Sit back, relax and enjoy this quite incredible achievement.
