18 Year old Crewe Alexandra starlet Nick Powell has taken another step towards the big time, moving to Old Trafford in a deal thought to be worth £6 millon pounds.

The youngster pictured above with Manchester United Chief Executive David Gill, signed a four year deal with Sir Alex Ferguson's side.

His final act for the Gresty Road club was a superb turn and Volley in the league two play off final at Wembley on May 27th, Powell has been with Crewe since the age of 5 and is tipped to eclipse names such as Danny Murphy, Dean Ashton and David Platt who have all graduated from the Cheshire club in recent years.
