Honda confirm new drivers for World Touring Car Championship
Honda have confirmed Gabriele Tarquini and Tiago Monteiro as their driving line up for the 2013 World Touring Car Championship.
Both men have pedigree in the sport. Tarquini started off in Formula one and eventually won the WTCC in 2009, becoming the oldest ever FIA champion.
Monteiro joined the Touring Cars, also from Formula one, in 2007 and will race for Honda in the final three races of this season as well.

And he wasn’t the only one to share the news on social media.
Olivier Gouters (@autosport_be) said: “WTCC 2013: Amazing news for Honda – Tarquini and Monteiro leave SEAT for Japanese brand.”
Honda’s head of motorsport Hideo Sato said: “We are delighted to have Gabriele back with us and welcome Tiago into the Honda racing family for the first time.”
Tarquini will work in a development role until the end of the current season.
