View from hotel bedroom in Kuala Lumpur, near Sentral station. I have to say I really enjoy this race. The 8hr time difference back to the UK means there are no major headaches with deadlines, the track is easy to get to and KL is fun. I lived here for three years as a child from 1986 to 1989 and have many happy memories. The city has clearly developed a lot but the character has remained the same; a cosmopolitan, friendly, vibrant culture and Malaysia is a beautiful country. Really looking forward to the weekend, too, after what happened in Australia. So many storylines. Great start to the season.
